Redirect Windows printers directly to files and execute customized applications after each printjob. directMON NT simulates a Windows printer port and intercepts event Network printers.

directMON NT operates completely independent from the associated printer driver. Intercept print data from every type of printers and plotters and save raw spool files directly to disk.

Windows Print Monitor: directMON NT supports print-to-file as well as print-to-program. directMON NT is installed as "Windows Printer Port" and can be connected to every installed printer driver. The files saved from directMON NT corresponds exactly to the print data sent to the printer without directMON NT.

Application examples

Printer preview for PostScript printers: In the PostProcess of a PostScript - printjob a PostScript viewer can be started automatically. Edit, save and print the printer data in your prefered application.

Document Management: Through small additional applications spool file can be saved directly in archiving systems. Selecting the right printer driver all usual formats as TIFF, PDF, PS or PCL can be supported.

Print-On-Demand: The printfiles saved by directMON NT can be easily reprinted, just by copying them to the printer interface. Use our tool directJOB in order to print spoolfiles. Because of format conversions are obsolete, the printout is executed with an extremly high speed.

Please note: directMON is no printer driver at its own. It is only a redirection for the data stream of printer drivers. In order to receive a specific print data file format, you will need additional software.
